Day one

Agile management methods. Challenges that arise when switching to Agile. Change of responsibility and involvement in the pair "manager – employee". Complementarity of 4 Agile values and 5 principles of Management 3.0 (practical task)

Today, difficulties, uncertainties, and unpredictable external factors do not allow the use of old management methods in complex domains. Therefore, we will briefly run through several options for implementing agile and learn the principles that allow you to create an agile environment in your company.

Fundamentals of work in a complex, changing environment. 8 principles of complex thinking. Bonus Challenge

In complex environments, making decisions based on one’s own knowledge and experience is ineffective. We use specific tools to determine the complexity of the environment. Accordingly, we can advise approaches to decision-making.

When making complex decisions, we must take into account the interests of people – internal and external stakeholders of the organization.

External and internal motivators, exercises to determine employee motivation. Moving Motivators and Kudo Box

Financial motivation is a necessary but not sufficient condition for the quality and full disclosure of human abilities. Intangible motivation, based on the inner needs of man, allows you to achieve greater goals together with the organization without “breaking”, persuasion, management of fear, and coercion. Happy employees show higher productivity and creativity with increasing quality of work.

Self-organization of teams. Delegation levels, poker, and boards. Decision-making matrix

Motivated employees, united in authorized teams, can create and deliver major features or end-to-end solutions with minimal involvement of management.

A leader or manager who strengthens and empowers his teams has the opportunity to focus on strategic issues and invest his efforts in areas that bring more value.

The goal is to create self-organization and self-management in teams.

Here we will talk about how to give teams power and autonomy, share responsibilities and delegate, and build trust in relationships with employees.

Day two

Merging and aligning the process constraints. Identifying values in the team and in the organization. Mission Vision Goal. Practice and 10 criteria for goal setting

A self-organizing team that has no goals or values can be counterproductive. By discovering the values of the organization, setting goals, and defining constraints, teams get one hundred percent freedom within the given framework. This leads to a quality expenditure of their strength and energy for their own benefit, as well as for the benefit of the entire organization.

7 approaches to the development of competencies. Agile Talent Dynamics

No matter how strong are team members, leaders need to be concerned about their development. In the medium and long term, seven approaches to the development of competencies can significantly increase the efficiency of the entire organization without increasing the headcount.

The structure of the organization. How to maintain knowledge and experience in a growing organization? Meddlers

Sooner or later, we face the challenges of scaling up an organization. How to prepare for this? What is the foundation and what can be done now?

We will learn how to build effective interactions, balance general knowledge and specialization. Form a reasonable balance between narrow specialists and “universal soldiers”. Support informal leadership and break the vicious circle of roles and positions.

Organization changes

How to be an agent of change in a complex volatile environment (VUCA world).

Overview of 4 areas of Change Management: system, individuals, interactions, and environment.

- What made you interested in Management 3.0? Why is it so valuable for you?

- It has all started from the magnificent story of Jurgen Appelo. Common management is limited by its approach to a human as a resource. Management 3.0 is management with a human face, management of people, for people, and with people. This is the concept of Agile implementation through people, not through processes, documents, and rules.
